Family & Individual Coaching for Mental Health Challenges

Are you struggling to understand the behaviors of someone you care about?

Do you feel lost trying to get them the help they need?

Are you shut out of decisions about their care?

Do you feel unheard when speaking with providers?

Navigating Mental Health with Confidence

ClearPath Family Solutions was founded on a simple truth: families —any caregivers — are the frontline of mental health care.

We are licensed clinical social workers with lived experience navigating the mental health system with loved ones. We’ve walked the path ourselves. We know how confusing, isolating, and overwhelming it can be to search for answers, stability and hope in the midst of uncertainty.

ClearPath fills a critical gap. We offer specialized, compassionate coaching to help families or caregivers navigate the complex world of mental health challenges of a loved one — across the life span. We provide information, tools, and strategies tailored to your situation — to help you whether the behavior stems from a psychiatric disorder, neurological issue, or another challenge.

While our expertise is based on years of clinical work, our role is that of a coachnot a therapist. Our goal is to help you to find a clear path forward.

Why Coaching — Not Therapy?

We chose a coaching model for a reason.

You want help figuring out how to help your loved one — that’s not therapy.

Do you already have a therapist? It’s not either or our coaching services are complimentary to your therapy work.

What is Coaching?

  • Coaching is action-oriented, focused on the “how” — how to move forward, solve problems and build skills

  • Coaching is short term guidance, goal-driven, focused on education and practical outcomes

  • No diagnosis, treatment plan or medical record involved

  • Not covered by insurance

  • A collaborative partnership

What is Therapy?

  • Therapy is insight-oriented, focused on the “why” — why past experiences shape current challenges

  • Therapy is a longer term process of clinical interventions, focused on individual exploration

  • Diagnosis and treatment plan with medical record required

  • Often covered by insurance

  • A clinical, therapeutic relationship
